The Tax Accountant is responsible for mainly preparing and filing sales and use tax returns, business tax returns, business personal property tax returns, and assisting other relevant taxes including corporate income tax returns. The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate detail-oriented, strong in numbers, and work independently.
【Essential Duties】
• Prepares and files monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual sales/use tax returns.
• Prepares and files monthly, quarterly, and annual business tax returns.
• Prepares and files annual business personal property tax returns and processes payments.
• Reviews assigned sales tax codes for new products.
• Prepares corporate estimated income tax payment orders.
• Assists in responding to tax notices and/ or information requests from tax authorities.

【Qualifications】
・3 years of experience in general accounting (including Bookkeeping, AP, AR) or tax.
・Ability to learn ERP systems such as Oracle.
・ English/Japanese bilingual a plus.
