The Sr. Manufacturing Plant Accountant provides management with accurate financial information and controls over the assigned area, including general accounting, cost accounting, analysis, and budget. These objectives are achieved through constant procedural review and modification in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
【Essential Duties】
- Prepare detailed reporting analysis for Plant Management, including production costs and operating variances.
- Maintain cost accounting system, documents, and records analyze and recommend cost savings opportunities.
- Coordinate monthly and annual cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods warehouse.
- Comply with GAAP for financial statements.
- Execute month-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support Plant Management with short- and long-term financial estimates.

【Requirements】
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of related accounting experience.
- Prior manufacturing and cost accounting experience.
- Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to set priorities, work with minimum supervision, and flexibility to handle frequent interruptions.
- Analytical aptitude, a sense of urgency, and ability to take initiative.
- Experience with MS Office Suite.
- Prior experience using SAP preferred.
